Final Form Fusion is a troupe of professionally trained belly dancers brought together by a longing to express their mutual love of geek culture through music and dance. Assembled in the autumn of 2016, their mission is to create electric productions encompassing multiple genres, including horror, sci-fi, fantasy, anime, video games, and more!

The Big Easy
New Orleans native, Chaka Joiner, will be blessing us with some covers and originals at this year's Festival. This police officer by day, singer-songwriter by night, currently resides in Charlottesville, VA.
The Vikings are coming...
Vikings of the Valley is heritage based, celebrating the history, culture and traditions of the ancient Viking Folk. They provide educational programs on the Dark Age History of Europe, and the Age of the Viking for all ages. They gather as Kindred Folk to share their history, culture and heritage both socially and publicly.
They will bring their Viking Ship and Viking folklore to this year's Festival!
DragonSong is a collaborative world music ensemble performing a synthesis of contemporary and traditional music. Through the integration of both ethnic and progressive tools, members combine their talents and put their egos aside in order to create an entity greater than themselves to share with the rest of the collective. They strive to enlighten and inspire one another by recycling energy and encouraging expression on a conscious and subconscious level. Vocal harmonies blend with a variety of instrumentation, weaving an intricate tapestry of sound. Through the fusion of music with visual performing arts, DragonSong creates a multi-sensory experience for all to enjoy.

Stories & Folklore
Lorna MacDonald Czarnota, an award-winning storyteller and author, has delighted audiences in schools, libraries, festivals and conferences throughout the United States, Canada, and Ireland since 1985.
Her work features historical presentations, storytelling, writing workshops, and motivational presentations, storytelling with at-risk youth, Celtic folklore, and the use of music and song to enhance story. She is the author of several books all of which can be found online and where fine books are sold.

Beauty in Movement
Na’la’s choreography and personal style grew from a fusion of all her past experiences. She has studied with many teachers across the US and in Europe, and has completed the Sahara Dance’s Bellydance teacher training in 2010. She has also completed the SEED’s (Self-Esteem, Empowerment, and Education through Dance) teacher training course in 2016, and the Paraprofessional Counseling Course in 2017. She is honored to be a teacher in such a vibrant and inspiring dance community, and has a special interest in Sacred Movement and participating in Council Shares. (Ask her for more info!)
Celtic Music Tradition
CandelFirth is a musical duo that explores traditional Celtic music through unique rhythms, arrangements and expressions. Randel Candelaria has been playing Celtic music for 30 years with a number of bands including Naomi's Fancy and the Celthix.
Susie Firth Cooper has been a solo artist for years and has performed most recently with the band Ashgrove.
Both have joined together to bring their unique approaches and dedication of the music of the British Isles in a blended and dynamic presentation reflecting their appreciation and fondness for the Celtic musical tradition.
P. County Representation
Patrick County musical favorite, Chris Owens, will be joining us for the 2017 Virginia Faery Festival.
Chris's soulful country roots can be heard in all of his music. Whether performing covers or originals, Chris can capture the emotion of the song and take you along for the ride.
Do you believe in Magic?
Kim Z became interested in the art of magic at the age of 12 when she saw magician, Criss Angel, on his television series, MindFreak; where she learned her first magic trick.
Since then, she has been personally trained by multiple world class magicians such as Jeff McBride, Luna Shimada, Dirk Losander, Dan Sperry, and even her hero, Criss Angel, himself!
She has performed all over the world, from NYC, Las Vegas, Miami, Mexico, Brazil, Honduras, and of course, locally here in Virginia. Kim has also received awards for her many performances, her most recent being 1st place in the Senior Stage competition at the world renowned, Tannens Magic Camp in Bryn Mawr, PA. She has even been featured in "A Day in the Life" on Delmarva's leading news station, WBOC.
Music with Feeling
Dawn grew up in the Ozarks amid lots of mountain music, arts, storytelling, beautiful hills and rivers. She taught herself to play guitar at 13.
She recently released The Vicious Hillbilly, 10 original songs, that a fan described as: “Part Patty Griffin... part Todd Snider...part
Linda Ronstadt...ALL honest, soulful lyrics combining Americana, alt-Country, Blues, and Folk musical
styles while exploring life as a progressive, mature, hillbilly girl living in the deep south.” Her lyric-driven music, as well as humorous stories that accompany the songs, are a perfect fit to listening environments.
Jessica Russell is a friend to all Fae. She has been studying the art of dance for 18 years with a focus on ballet. She has studied all around the country, and has found a true passion in wanting to share this art form with the youngest and most aspiring souls; the children. She currently resides in Richmond, VA.
Jess will be offering Intro to Ballet classes for any children that visit the festival.
Katlyn Wyllie is a graphic designer from Charlotte and a lifelong painter, writer, and expression artist. After teaching artists and non-artists alike how to paint at a "Drink & Paint" establishment, she noticed how people new to painting disliked their work to the point of utter discouragement. In this class, Katlyn will describe how each artist is different by means of motor skills and, most importantly, perspective.
Native American Relics
Steve Sims has been a Native American relics and fossil enthusiast since his earliest years. Having attended many pow wows throughout the 1980’s and teaching primitive living skills with Earth Quest in the late 90’s, Steve has focused on showing relics and teaching primitive survival skills as a guest speaker at schools, for scout groups, and at the popular Floyd Fest in Floyd, VA.
Steve will be offering sessions throughout the day on various Native American crafts and skills. All ages are welcome.
